Meet our team

  • Dr. Jenny Wildrick Ph.D, LPC, CRC, CPRP

    Welcome! I am the owner of JMW Counseling LLC. I graduated from Keystone College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and completed my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2017 from the University of Scranton. I obtained my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.

    Our practice specializes in Substance Abuse, Mental Health, Career Counseling, Eating Disorders, Disability, and Advocacy. I have over 8 years of experience in the field. My prior experience includes working as a manager in a mental health group home, a case manager for children and adolescents, and working as a counselor for co-occurring populations.

    We enjoy working with clients to build a therapeutic relationship that allows them to understand and process their struggles and concerns, as well as set goals, and develop healthy coping skills.

  • Ashley Rempe, LPC

    Hi there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University in 2015, my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Scranton in 2018, and my License in Professional Counseling in 2020. Within my eight years of experience, I have worked within many different specialties including therapeutic staff support, outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatric services, marriage and family therapy, sex offender treatment, and group therapy.

    I have an eclectic approach in which I offer a combination of person-centered therapy, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In 2021 I was trained in EMDR, and I am currently trained in Level 1 Gottman Therapy. I am working towards Level 2 and will continue training within the Gottman Institute. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders and work with individuals age 12 and older. I feel as though therapy is a place in which an individual should be allowed to discuss fears, hopes, dreams, and everything in between without judgement and with the utmost level of unconditional positive regard.

  • Kristen Thomas, MS, LPC, NCC

    Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. A native to NEPA, I graduated from the University of Scranton in 2015 with a B.S. in Counseling/Human Services and a minor in Psychology. With early acceptance in to the Accelerated M.S. Program, I continued on in my education and earned my Master’s Degree in PK-12 School Counseling in 2017. Throughout my education, I have worked as an academic counselor for students with disabilities and have since held various counseling positions at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels.

    I have been working in education for several years and specialize in meeting with adolescents who may be experiencing a multitude of mental health concerns. My experiences include working with adolescents and young adults encountering difficulties with depression, anxiety, gender identity issues, self-esteem, grief, attention disorders, self-harm, coping skills, and peer relationships.

    I view therapy as a collaborative, “team” effort, in which I provide a safe environment to help clients work through life’s challenges and collectively set attainable goals. I strive to develop a positive, supportive relationship with each client and understand how important that is to the success of the work that we do together. With a person centered approach, my goal is to assist individuals in reaching their fullest potential by highlighting their strengths and helping them work through their areas of growth and healing.

  • Tori St. John, MA, LAPC

    Hello! My name is Tori and I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. I am currently working towards my full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2017 with a B.A in Psychology. Following that, I decided to continue my education at Kutztown University where I earned my Masters degree in Marriage, Family and Couples Counseling in 2022. While pursuing my degrees, I spent my time working as a Behavioral Health Technician for school age children struggling with emotional/behavioral concerns and working with college age students providing counseling sessions at a local university.

    I have been working in the mental health field since graduating and specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who may be experiencing various mental health and/or behavioral concerns. My experiences include working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, self esteem, attention disorders, life changes, relationships, attention disorders, adjustment disorders, anger and coping skills.

    With a warm and empathetic approach, this allows my clients to feel comfortable and supported as they work through their struggles. With an integrative approach to therapy, I pride myself in learning about my client and tailoring approaches to fit their specific goals/needs. I understand the unique challenges that young people face and am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts and emotions.I strongly believe in the power of therapy to promote growth and change, and am dedicated to helping my clients develop the tools and skills they need to thrive.

  • Adriana Arana, LPC

    Hey! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor. I recieved my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Long Island University- Brooklyn and my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Touro Univisity.

    With over 14 years of experience working in the mental health field, and over 10 years of clinical experience, I have worked in several settings such as inpatient, outpatient and community based programs that have allowed me to gain the knowledge and experience that I possess today working with diverse populations. Added to say that I also speak Spanish! I am fluent in the Spanish language and more than happy to help those whose primary language is Spanish.

    I believe a good therapeutic relationship should be empowering, uplifting, as well as be insightful. I work primarily with adults (18+) and specialize working with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self esteem and navigating life milestones such as college, marriage, divorce, parenting and immigration challenges.   • Pamela West, LSW

    Pamela is a licensed social worker. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Southern New Hampshire University and her Master’s in Social Work from Widener University.

    She has experience in both the inpatient and outpatient environment working with children and adults experiencing mental health challenges. She has also spent time working in community settings with people experiencing substance use, trauma, domestic violence, and family stressors. She has developed a true passion for working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions.

    Her career thus far has included individual and family therapy as well as group therapy

    Pamela feels that it is imperative to develop an emphatic therapeutic relationship where clients feel validated and empowered. Therapy is so much more than venting, it is a safe environment where together we can work to focus on healing and changing negative thought processes. She utilizes CBT, DBT, and strengths based perspectives to help clients achieve goals and create long lasting change.

  • Kelly Clarke M.S, LAPC, NCC

    Hello there! I’m Kelly, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Scranton.

    My professional path includes serving as a Behavioral Health Technician, providing support to children on the autism spectrum by addressing behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Additionally, I honed my skills through an internship at a local university by providing individual and crisis counseling for college students.

    My experience encompasses working with individuals across various age groups, from children to adults, tackling issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship struggles, life transitions, academic hurdles, self-esteem and identity concerns. Acknowledging the courage it takes to seek counseling, my commitment is to create a welcoming, empowering, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe and supported as you progress.

    I practice counseling from a person-centered/humanistic perspective where I prioritize my client’s autonomy and inherent capacity for growth. I strive to meet each client’s unique needs while honoring your personal beliefs and values.   • Gabriela Lopez, LSW

    Hi! My name is Gabriela, though many call me Gaby. I earned a B.A. in Psychology from Hunter College in New York in 2011 and completed my Master’s in Social Work at Sacred Heart University in 2023. I am a Licensed Social Worker. During my academic journey, I worked as a Blended Case Manager, supporting individuals navigating their first episodes of psychosis. In addition to this, I provided counseling to those experiencing psychosis symptoms.

    Since graduating, I’ve gained extensive experience in mental health, focusing on helping young adults and adults overcome a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem struggles, attention disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, adjustment difficulties, anger management, and developing effective coping strategies.

    My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion and empathy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of my clients. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment that fosters self-discovery and personal growth. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and grief and loss counseling, and I deeply believe in the transformative power of therapy. My goal is to empower clients with the tools they need to lead fulfilling lives.

    Additionally, I’m fluent in Spanish and offer services in both English and Spanish.

  • Brian Roberts

    Brian is JMW Counseling’s Practice Operations Manager. Brian has been working as a manager for the last 4 years at an Inpatient drug and alcohol facility. In addition to having knowledge of working with the substance abuse and mental health population, Brian brings a variety of business and management skills to our practice. Brian’s role as Practice Operations Manager is to manage our offices in addition to assisting with outreach and client relations. Brian can assist you with a connection to our therapists, as well as providing any additional information regarding our practice and services offered.
